Chelsea are closely monitoring Tottenham striker Harry Kane. The Blues believe that Kane is the man to solve their goal-scoring problems.
Chelsea Harry Kane
According to reports on Sky Sports, Kane has told Tottenham authorities he wants to leave the club at the end of the current season. The player was seen applauding the Spurs fans as he walked round the stadium after a 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa on Wednesday.
Chelsea’s Director, Marina Granovskaia is keen on bringing in a potent goalscorer this summer in order to enable the club challenge for the Premier League title next season. The current crop of strikers at the club includes Tammy Abraham, Olivier Giroud and Timo Werner.

Tuchel has faith in Werner and is willing to keep at the club, provided that Chelsea can sign a proper striker to allow the German play from the flank. With age not on Giroud’s side and Abraham out of favour, it makes sense that the Blues are seeking to sign another striker.
ESPN claim that Chelsea are willing to offer Tammy Abraham and Kepa Arrizabalaga as makeweights for the transfer of Kane. Abraham and Kepa are currently valued at £36.0 million and £11.7 million respectively on Transfermarkt. In addition to both players, Chelsea will also offer cash.

However, Tottenham are not likely to let Kane move to West London as the two clubs have history. ESPN claims that Chelsea “fears that Spurs may be unwilling to do business”
Manchester City and United currently lead the race for Kane’s signature, but with Barcelona entering the fray, Tottenham may prefer the striker moves to Spain rather than strengthen a direct rival.
In another news, Sergio Aguero is close to joining Barcelona. The striker is expected to take a huge pay cut. A deal is set to be announced after the Champions League final.
