The Portuguese gaffer fending off stiff competition from Frank Lampard to win the monthly award for the first time since taking over the reins in North London. He has guided Tottenham to the top of the Premier League tables, raking up 3 wins out of 4 during the month of November. The only blemish being a 0-0 draw at Stamford Bridge against his former club, Chelsea.

Mourinho took to Instagram to announce himself the winner, posting a video of himself and his backroom staff together with the award -before even the official announcement was made.

It is the first time a Spurs manager is winning the award since Mauricio Pochettino last won it in April 2017. Tottenham sit top of the Premier League after 11 games and have already faced Man United, Man City, Chelsea and Arsenal. They won 3 of those fixtures too!
