Sergio Aguero inspired Man City to a 0-2 win at Selhurst Park on Saturday. The 32-year old opened the scoring with a ferocious strike before Feran Torres doubled City’s lead minutes later.
Victory over Crystal Palace leaves the league leaders on the brink of being crowned Premier League Champions once again. The club record goal scorer netted the opener to take his tally to 258 goals for Manchester City.
Aguero’s strike and the resulting win means City need just 2 points from their remaining four games to seal a third league title in 4 years. The Cityzens could also be crowned Champions as early as Sunday if Liverpool defeats second-placed Manchester United.

Sergio Aguero’s goal at Selhurst Park was his first in that stadium. He has now scored in 30 different stadiums in the Premier League. The Argentine is in his last season at the Etihad and though he is no longer a regular starter at the club this season, he was happy to have scored the crucial opener for Man City against Crystal Palace
“I’m so happy because it has been a long time since I played 90 minutes and the goal was good because maybe we can win the Premier League,” -Sergio Aguero
City can start putting some champagnes in the fridge. Pep Guardiola’s men have the Carabao cup in the bag already and hold a 2-1 first leg lead over Paris St-Germain in their UCL semi final tie.
