BREAKING: Manchester United have reached an agreement with Borussia Dortmund to sign England international, Jadon Sancho for £72.9m.
Reports in the UK claim that the Red Devils have finally got their man after a long period of transfer speculation. Jadon Sancho to Manchester United is a done deal after almost two years of speculations and rumours.
Sancho who is on international duty with England will undergo a medical before signing a five-year contract that will keep him at Old Trafford until 2026, with the option for an additional year.
The winger has been a key player for Dortmund since joining from Man City in 2017. He scored 16 goals and provided 20 assists for the for Dortmund in all competitions last season.
He will team up with fellow Three Lions stars Marcus Rashford, Luke Shaw and Mason Greenwood at Old Trafford.
Sancho’s signing is Solkjaer’s first major transfer deal this summer, with Man United thought to be in search of a central defender. Some reports suggest that Raphael Varane and former teammate Sergio Ramos are targets for the Red Devils.
