Some good news from a Madrid perspective is that former Chelsea man Eden Hazard is fit and in the squad to face his former employers. The Belgian played 20 minutes as a substitute in a goalless draw with Real  Betis over the weekend and is expected to feature against Chelsea tomorrow.

Speaking to the media ahead of the fixture, Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane said:

“He played for 15 to 20 minutes and it was quite good. The most important thing is that he didn’t feel anything more to do with his problem. He’s doing quite well and now he is with us. He’s happy to have played a game with us because he is going to contribute to the team a lot and he has to continue like this”.

Hazard’s teammate, Raphael Varane also said that the Belgian is feeling motivated.
