Bayern Munich began their Bundesliga campaign by thrashing Schalke 8-0 to continue from where they left off last season. The Champions were at their impeccable best at the Allianz Arena on Friday, making it look as though they were never away. Serge Gnabry scored a hat-trick while new boy, Leroy Sane scored once and provided two assists on what was his debut game for the unstoppable Bayern Munich. German-born Jamal Musiala put the finishing touch on the scoreline, having come off the bench to score Bayern’s 8th goal of the game.

Unstoppable Bayern Munich
Bayern Munich fresh from winning a historic continental treble (the second in their history), continued their routine of blowing away opponents, with their rampant attack ripping opposition defenses apart. The presence of former Man City man, Leroy Sane, further adding speed to their already pacy frontline. Last season saw them record some outrageous score lines on their way to winning the Champions League. Chelsea, Tottenham, and Barcelona among their victims. There was no room for relapse as they began the new season the same way they ended the previous one. It was a successful day at the office from the front trio as all three of them got on the scoresheet. Serge Gnabry’s hattrick made him the star of the show but the entire team looks unstoppable.
Jamal Musiala; A star is born

17-year-old Jamal Musiala became Bayern’s youngest goalscorer in the Bundesliga after coming off the bench to score the 8th goal against Shalke 04 at the Allianz Arena. The young attacking midfielder who grew up in England, joined Bayern from Chelsea last year. He made his debut at the tail end of last season in a league match against Freiburg.
